Fortunately it is still beach time in Abruzzo, not for baking oneself no, you will need to go on a long haul flight somewhere to achieve that, but for taking a lazy walk along the beach, taking a small paddle in the green watered Adriatic and then of course enjoying a fine fish lunch with a glass of delicate Trebbiano d'Abruzzo…. all under bright blue skies peppered with fluffy white clouds.  It’s a world away from stuffing your feet into the heady stilettos and creaking brogues of city work and play…
