  Romantic Abruzzo Holidays Just for 2

  Villasfor2 opened its collective villa holiday doors in Abruzzo in May 09, providing an excellent opportunity for couples to explore this still relatively unknown region of Italy.  Intimate & well-located within the province of Chieti, this series of 3 hillside villas border the Majella National Park, providing panoramic vistas and easy access to the Adriatic.

  Boutique Meets Rustic Abruzzo

  The villas are designed in traditional Abruzzo style, with cream-coloured walls and dark green shutters under big, curved terracotta roof-tiles called coppi.  Each Villa is approximately 6 metres from floor to ceiling, and has a wooden-floored mezzanine sleeping area & a choice of King-size double, or two single beds with wardrobe & chest of drawers for storage.

  The fully equipped kitchen contains a small dining area and is stocked with tea, coffee, home-grown olive oil. Waiting for each couple will be a complimentary bottle of local red or white wine according to your preference, a taster for the uninitiated in the excellent local Chieti vino.

  Each villa has a modern bathroom & shower with hairdryer and small safe for valuables. The villas are equipped with both central heating & air-conditioning as well as having wi-fi and a dvd player. For those nervous of leaving their mobile phone at home, don’t worry the reception in the area is excellent.

  Privacy at the Pool

  Step out through double patio doors and you can enjoy your own private south-facing sun-terrace with fantastic views over the beautiful Abruzzo countryside with chairs and parasol to enjoy an al fresco breakfast.  Amble a few more steps and you can enjoy a dip in the 10 x 6m salt-water purified swimming pool with sun terrace, chairs, sun beds and parasols again all provided.

  Villasfor2 is run by English husband & wife team David & Pauline, and can provide essential information on local cuisine, attractions and recreational pursuits. The villas are approximately 6 km from the centre of historic town Casoli, and only about 28 km from the sandy beaches of the Adriatic.  For those that enjoy walking, the Majella mountains are on your doorstep as is skiing.
