Abruzzo’s beaches continue to shine as it upholds its Blue Flag standard! It has been awarded 22 EU Blue Flags some of our favourites…

Teramo Province

Martinsicuro, Alba Adriatica, Tortoreto Lido, Giulianova, Roseto degli Abruzzi, Pineto, Silvi Marina

Chieti Province

Ortona, Chieti San Vito, Rocca San Giovanni, Fossacesia, Vasto & San Salvo

The Blue Flags are a standard indicating clean water; nowadays then can also indicate a variety of environmental and social facilities such as recycling, bicycle paths, accessibility &c., as well helping to protect marine and ornithological ecosystems.
